Writer. Speaker. Bible Scholar.
Wife and Mom. Overcomer.
Broken and Made New.
Born and raised in the Virginia countryside, Catherine Boyle often retreated to the cow pasture behind her house to survey the small valley overlooking her home. There Catherine discovered a dawning sense of the grandeur of God and began a lifelong love of the written Word.
Despite this passion for writing, Catherine was overly sensible and earned an Accounting degree in college and later an MBA. Catherine spent many years working for a large southeastern bank, all the while silently nurturing a passion for writing and ministry.
Catherine retired from corporate life upon the birth of her second child. In the early years of her children’s lives, at just the right time, God pulled together the passions for writing, speaking and ministry that Catherine had never known how to use. Soon, God opened the doors for Catherine to lead significant ministries, become a professional speaker, launch her writing career and affiliate with Northfield Ministries, a Virginia-based organization helping young women recover from eating disorders.
Today, Catherine spends her time writing, speaking and teaching the truth and application of God’s Word. Catherine’s first book, Hungry Souls: What the Bible Says About Eating Disorder, was released in 2007. The Hungry Souls Bible Study was released in 2010. Catherine has contributed to several other books and is working on a humorous memoir of her suburban pioneer life.
