Catherine;

Thank you for the kind review. Interestingly, the book is like Blue Chees dressing--either people love it, or they...they just don't get it. You can see that by the reviews on Amazon. Usually, the people who get it are the people who recognize that suffering is required in our walk with Jesus. Those who don't...well, probably they haven't yet discovered that--not sure.
Anyway, thank you for taking the time to read the entire work. Greatly appreciate your kind comments.

Thanks for the comment, Edie! And thanks for reading. I’m pretty sure we won’t be going to the reunion either…a new home improvement project has just taken over our lives and it looks like it won’t be finished by Labor Day.

FYI, I remember your kindness, in high school and beyond. I frequently hope and pray that my kids see beyond the ‘moment’ of high school, then college, etc ~ and I pray yours (I know they’re older than mine) do the same! CSB

Catherine,
I'm so glad I saw this posting. I feel somewhat the same as you but must admit that I also have some negative feelings about how I was treated by my "friends" at the 20 year reunion. It was one of the most awkward nights of my life. I found myself cornered in conversations with "friends" that clearly wanted to remind me of things that I have chosen to leave in the past. I'm not even sure I like the person that I was in high school (certainly from a spiritual perspective) and I'm not sure I want to revisit those days. Fortunately, most of us grow up to find out what God meant for us to be and are still pushing onward! It's not likely that I will attend this time, so I'll certainly miss seeing you and a few others. Hope you are well and enjoying the blessings of life!

Thank you for this reminder Cathy! I often have S.A.D. periods this time of year - I attribute it to the heat. I needed your reminder to use the time more God wisely!
